1871 / 1721 Group
Keep in mind that when the conditions are rough on 80 Meter during the winter months, You can find us with the 1721 ( 1871.00) 160 meter group after 3730 is over. As you well know the two groups collaborate at the Dayton hamvention and at KC8QGJ's , Kring Point NY yearly event. Listen up for "Chardon Tom" and the crew. This is someone who is committed to the hobby!

Our Surf and Turf Supper will be held on Saturday evening June 27/09.
The same dinner deal (surf and turf) as last year will be offered. Prices: $12 for lobster, $8 for steak. Please place your order with VA3RDC no later than 15 June. There is a pot luck component for the surf-and-turf dinner. Diners are requried to bring some food (desserts, veggies, salads, whatever) to share for 4 people per diner (so if there's two of you coming, enough food for 8).

Hello All. I'm certain you are all aware that the band conditions have not been cooperating for the last month or so for the 3730 group. We are still working the net nightly , so keep an ear out to see if you can hear us. Looking forward to better conditions....73 de Mike VA3MPM

I am pleased to present the new web site for The 3730 Group. I'll probably be tweaking the layout and design for the next little while, but my hope is that any changes are going to be fairly minor so I think it's pretty much ready for prime time!

Conditions on 80 have been quite poor for the last few weeks, but remember we try to be there regardless of the band being good, bad or ugly... just remember if you can hear us, we can probably hear you!

Please note, we have had to adjust a little bit. While we intended to be on 3.730 MHz each evening, long conditions on 80 meters recently have caused us to interfere with the BC Public Service Net on 3.729 MHz.
